Streets of Paris

Having had the privilege and opportunity to travel significantly, people often ask me where is my favorite place in the world. My response is always the same, “I can’t answer that because everywhere I travel I find something I love in each destination”.  However, there is one city where I continuously find myself drawn to…Paris! I visit this incredibly beautiful and fascinating city multiple times each year, and there is always something new to discover. In fact, the beginning process of each new T. Christopher collection often begins in Paris, where I source many of the fine fabrics and trims used in our garments. Therefore, with each visit, I will keep you updated on my latest findings within this brilliant City of Lights.

Foundation Louis Vuitton

Fondation Louis Vuitton

8 Avenue du Mahatma Gandhi, Bois de Boulogne

Built by LVMH, designed by Frank Gehry, displaying works by the great modern and contemporary artists of the 20th Century from the likes of Rothko to Picasso, this museum has quickly earned a place in my favorite places to visit in Paris. Don’t miss the exposition of Being Modern: MoMa in Paris, until March 5, 2018.

Evening Stroll through ParisEvening Stroll through Paris

After dinner, take a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets to the grand boulevards and see why Paris is called the City of Lights. Feel like you are going back in time, like Owen Wilson does in Midnight in Paris, as the Haussmann buildings are lit in splendor and the quiet hum gives the sense that the creatives of the past were right there too.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

This park in the northeast of Paris, in the 19th arrondissement, is a true hidden gem. Mostly only locals come here, and only some of them. It is also a great place to run in the park…perfect for keeping in shape after indulging in the incredible cuisine of this city. For a more relaxing experience, come for a nice picnic on the grass, or have a glass of wine with tapas at the bar Rosa Bonheur (http://rosabonheur.fr/), where Parisians sing and dance together.
